Flying Mission Services (FMS) was founded in 1977 by Dr Malcom McArthur to ease the burden of transportation for medical and mission work in the remote areas of Botswana through aviation. They aim to bring physical and spiritual help to people.
Their services include Charter Flights, Air Ambulance Service Aircraft Maintenance reducing time taken to deliver medication or patients from rural areas to major cities. FMS’s services continue to grow and change over the years with its work expanding beyond aviation alone.
FMS has made a tremendous change in the lives of people in Botswana. Lady Khama Charitable Trust has been working hand in hand with FMS by allocating funds for them since 2002, now focusing on teacher training in early childhood development.
